New North East spa has membership boom

AN EXCLUSIVE PACKAGE to become one of the first members of the North East’s newest spa has made a real splash, with the majority of them now sold.

This summer Ramside Hall Hotel near Durham will unveil its multi-million pound Spa at Ramside, providing state-of-the-art facilities, some of which have never been seen in the area before.

And to mark the new spa the hotel has created a special Founder Members package, which will offer a range of introductory benefits and a special rate.

The Founder Members – which will be limited to 200 - will automatically be enrolled into a loyalty point scheme and given 4000 complimentary points to be redeemed at the spa.

And despite only being launched a few weeks ago, only a handful of the special Founder Member packages remain.

Those who have signed up will also receive a complimentary members’ guest pass and a personalised 60 minute treatment of their choice and invitations to exclusive events throughout the year.

“The Founder Member packages have been a huge success,” said Jill Russell, Spa Director.

’‘We’ve had an amazing amount of interest and we’ve literally got only a handful left. Everyone seems to be really excited about what we are going to be offering here.“

The Spa At Ramside is due to open in early August and boasts a full size 25m swimming pool, large hydrotherapy pool, six thermal experience rooms including a glass sided amphitheatre sauna, fully equipped life fitness gym and two exercise studios.

It will also offer a weekly programme of over 40 varied classes including aerial yoga along with its own Spa Herb Garden complete with terrace and Vitality pool.

The spa will include 14 treatment rooms, a light relaxation room complete with a balcony infinity pool, a beauty snug including nail studio, a dark relax room with soundwave therapy and sleep pods and a Mud Rasul chamber which can be enjoyed by groups of up to four people.

At the same time Wynyard-based Reef Hairdressing will be opening a salon within the spa, with guests also able to enjoy food at the Spa Fusion Restaurant.
