Vintage Whitley Bay small business set to reopen under new ownership

The Vintage Powder Room of Park View, Whitley Bay, is set to open under new ownership with a vintage themed re-launch evening, as well as hosting at the Whitley Bay Carnival, this Saturday 23rd May.

Saturday will witness the Vintage Powder Room give special guests at its’ exclusive ticketed event a taste of indulgence 1940s/50’s style.

There will be vintage music, hairstyling & make up demonstrations. The team will also be showing their support at this years much anticipated Whitley Bay Carnival at the Spanish City Plaza between 11am & 5pm on the same day, where they will be selling some homemade treats and offering visitors the chance to have their hair styled.

New owner Sarah Mile, said: “We are so excited about our re-launch party and The Whitley Bay Carnival, we are passionate about providing great quality and fantastic service.

“With a lovely revamped powder room and welcoming vintage inspired tea room, The Vintage Powder Room now provides a unique experience whereby customers can step back in time, relax and indulge in delicious home baked cakes; afterwards there’s the option of yet more relaxation with treatments.

“The venue is also available for children’s birthday parties, hen parties & baby showers and is a fantastic addition to Whitley Bay’s thriving cafe culture.

“We really love seeing the transformation in our customers when they come in for a Vintage Makeover & they always get such a positive reaction from other visitors as they leave the powder room!” says Lauren Walker who specializes in Vintage hair and make-up.”
