Charge up your Business
Award winning EV charging specialists are holding first of its kind, electric vehicle networking event.
Sunderland’s, Elm EV are hosting ‘Charge up your Business’ at the newly built Washington Business Centre, based next to the Nissan Factory.
The company have invited a range of local dealerships to display the newest electric vehicles and plug-in hybrids, including an electric super car, the BMWi8 and the Porsche Panamera Hybrid.
Also on display will be the most up to date electric vehicle charging equipment, which will be demonstrated to local businesses and the public sector.
Guests will be encouraged to get some real hands-on experience using the charging equipment and really experience the vehicles and their capabilities.
Commercial Director, Dan Martin, said: “We are having this event to celebrate the growing industry of ultra-low emission vehicles here in the North East.
“Businesses, such as Phoenix Taxis have really exploited the new technology on offer and are a prime company to promote the benefits of using electric vehicles in their fleet. We have had a really great response from companies, this will be the first event of many.”
The informal networking event will allow businesses to talk to industry experts as well as promoting their own businesses to key professionals.
Charge up your Business is a free event for businesses that are interested in electric vehicles and the benefits to their company.
The event will take place at 8am-10am on Friday 22nd May at the Washington Business Centre, 2 Turbine Way, Sunderland, SR5 3NZ
