Second TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence for Aspers' restaurant

Freya’s, the in-house restaurant at Aspers Casino Newcastle, has been awarded the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence award for a second year in a row in recognition of its reviews on the TripAdvisor website.

Freya’s Restaurant at Aspers Casino has 107 TripAdvisor reviews with 96 people rating the experience very good or excellent. The TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence is only awarded to businesses that consistently achieve outstanding reviews on the world’s largest travel site.

Businesses must maintain a TripAdvisor rating of four out of five to receive the accolade and consistently gain positive reviews from visitors.

Darren Hedley, Campaigns Manager at Aspers Casino Newcastle said: “To receive this accolade twice is something we’re very proud of and all credit needs to go to our fantastic staff who consistently deliver excellent service to our customers.

“Freya’s Restaurant isn’t just popular with casino patrons, we’ve seen lots of people come to the restaurant based on the reviews we receive on TripAdvisor so we’re very grateful to all the people that take the time to rate their experience.”

One TripAdvisor senior contributor from Edinburgh wrote in a recent review: “The restaurant was cosy and welcoming. The service was good and the drinks were tasty. I would definitely return!” Another TripAdvisor contributor from Leeds, who visited the restaurant in February, wrote in her review: “This is our favourite restaurant when visiting Newcastle. Consistently good food and a warm northern welcome.”

Head Chef, Michael Allsopp, leads the team at Freya’s Restaurant. His menu offers a fantastic range of dishes prepared using locally sourced ingredients. The restaurant itself has recently been refurbished to compliment the contemporary menu.

Freya’s Restaurant at Aspers Casino Newcastle is open daily, 17:00 – 23:30 and Sundays, 12noon – 16:00 (Sunday carvery). Early evening specials are available from 17:00 – 19:30 and after hours service Sun-Thu 23:30-01:30 and Fri & Sat 23:30-02:30.
