Evans swaps partnership from Howard Worth to Sedulo
Manchester based Accountants, Sedulo, have bolstered their tax offering with the appointment of David Evans who has joined them from Cheshire based practice Howard Worth.
Evans, 29, who was on the partner development programme at Howard Worth and had been at the firm for the past 7 years will become a tax manager at Sedulo which includes a partnership programme. He will take up a role which will incorporate both commercial and personal tax responsibilities as per his previous duties.
As part of the recruitment of David, Sedulo will also look to take on 2 tax apprentices studying towards the ATT qualification as Sedulo looks for overall growth this year of around 30%
Managing Director Paul Cheetham says:
“It’s a very important recruitment for the long term future of the business, managing to prize him away from an existing partnership promise was not easy. He represents everything we are looking for in an individual, professional, dynamic and ambitious. He along with our existing Tax Manager Darrell Booth will form a great team for developing future talent in our tax team”
Evans says:
“Leaving Howard Worth was not easy as I had been there for 7 years. That said I was really impressed by the plans of Sedulo for the next 5 years. The culture also was a huge plus for me and they work in some interesting sectors such technology, online, media and fashion, which was another major influence. I am looking forward to the new challenge”
