Exclusive Asian deal signed for North East Company

North East engineering and inspection service business, Mactech Inspections Limited, have signed an exclusive deal for the Asian market, with e-MARINE, a South Korean based marine solutions company.

The deal has been developed due to e-MARINE’s desire to enter the energy market. Mactech are keenly placed to assist in this objective, due to 30 years’ experience in delivering high value contracts and projects for global energy companies.

The South Korean company, who are fifty one percent owned by Hyundai, are also keen to build their skill set which forms part of the South Korean governments five year plan. Through signing the deal with Mactech, they will be able to ensure that they are gaining high quality British/European based and trained personnel to assist in this development.

In recent times Mactech has established a client base within the South East Asia region, the partnership will cement this and allow the businesses to increase export levels. Mactech’s Managing Director, Andrew McFarlane, said of the signing “Both sets of senior management recognise the global opportunities this partnership will bring to the two companies, it will allow for a significant increase in the exporting of products and service and develop further lines”.

He also went on to say “that the opportunities available through this were not just tied to South East Asia, it will be a formula that can be transferred and implement in other global areas”.
