Manchester’s Overbury complete £250k refurb of numero’s Stockport HQ
Software and customer management company numero is now open for business at its new 12,000 sq. ft. HQ in Stockport, following the completion of a £250k refurbishment project by Overbury.
numero relocated its 75 staff into a new workspace in Kingfisher Court on Yew Street.
The fit out and refurbishment was completed in less than eight weeks.
Overbury redesigned the building utilisation to include a variety of new spaces for numero’s employees to innovate, collaborate, work more effectively and take time out.
A director for Overbury in the North, Philip Westwood, said: “The brief from numero was clear, we had to deliver a comprehensive refurbishment and fit out of the existing building as well as ensuring that the project future-proofed the space from corporate growth and technological developments.
“In addition, numero recognised the opportunity to revolutionise client and staff engagement and to drive cultural change.
“As a result we have delivered an inspiring working environment and an equally exciting place to visit, all developed with the specific needs of the company, its staff and its clients in mind.
“We are delighted with the finished project and to hear that it’s being seen as a major asset of the company, rather than just a workspace.”
CEO at numero, Guy Colclough, said: “This project was much more than just an exercise in relocating the business.
“We saw the move as a chance for us to reconnect with our staff and reinstate our ‘can do’ attitude. We had outgrown our previous building and the company had become highly fragmented and constrained by space.
“Our treatment of clients was lacking for a hi-tech company specialising in customer engagement solutions, plus, we wanted to excite and thrill our most valuable resource and asset - our staff.”
“The new office has surpassed all our expectations and has provided us with a range of work settings that better support our employees in completing their day-to-day tasks, as well as giving clients a fantastic experience when they come visit us.
“The Overbury team was amazing and I cannot praise them enough other than to say that I am thrilled by their collaborative and supportive approach to helping us relocate and reengineer our business.
“Overbury has left us with a legacy that they should be proud of.”
