Oldham’s Constant Group celebrate growth with group wide rebrand and fleet expansion
Oldham-based metal component manufacturers, Constant Group, continue to see rapid growth through 2015 with a company-wide rebranding program and fleet expansion as well as multiple new appointments.
Father and son, Harry and Richard Garlick, established Constant Aluminium Supplies Ltd in 1970 to provide aluminium sheet metal services to local business in the Oldham and Manchester area.
After continued business development, and becoming known by customers simply as ‘Constant’ the company has officially changed name to Constant Group Ltd with the launch of its new Group branded website reflecting its 6 strong businesses including.
Constant Group Ltd’s 30,000ft2 manufacturing site is based in Meadowbank Business Park, just off junction 22 in Oldham.
Chairman, Richard Garlick, said: “45 years ago I couldn’t have envisaged being part of a company providing a range of metal work solutions to companies around the world, from leading fitness brands like Fitbit to local motorbike manufacturers such as CCM Motorcycles.
“Today we employ over 70 people from the Oldham and Manchester area, something again I’d never have thought possible when I started up with my father in the 70s.”
Managing director of Constant Group, Matt Garlick, said: “We’re proud to have flourished this year, with the installation of a new state-of-the-art Trumpf CNC punching machine expanding our capacity, alongside a new 7.5 tonne Fuso Wagon to our fleet.
“Our new truck makes us a three strong fleet with a collective load ability of 13 tonnes.
Managing director, Emma Gilligan, added: “The fleet of wagons and multiple key appointments are unheard of within small manufacturers like us.
“But we love to lead the way, following in Dad’s footsteps with innovation, technology and continued investment into the business.”
