ForViva opens its doors creating North West group
A new group aimed at empowering people and communities positively across the North West was launched on 1st June 2015.
ForViva will see City West Housing Trust, Villages Housing Association and construction firm ForWorks come together under a new group structure.
The group, which consists of more than 17,300 homes, will support people and communities across Merseyside and Greater Manchester. Group members will tackle key issues in their communities, building much needed affordable properties and offering customers a positive future through training, enterprise and employment opportunities.
ForViva will establish better links between health and housing services, improve the lives of customers through access to education and support safer communities.
Tim Doyle, Group Chief Executive at ForViva, said: “ForViva brings together three organisations under a single ethos that is dedicated to delivering excellent services and improving lives.
“With more than 40 years’ experience within the group, we have the shared resources, values and the financial power to put our ambitious plans into action. Our ultimate aim is to improve the lives of thousands of people across the North West by working in partnership to transform their communities for the better.
“This is a very exciting time for us – as a new organisation we are keen to embrace opportunities and collaborate with like-minded partner agencies to shape issues, pool together ideas and deliver innovative services that will make positive impacts in our communities.”
