Benton-based car supermarket facilitates future growth plans with NatWest
Benton-based Henson Motor Group has moved its banking facilities to NatWest as part of its business growth ambitions.
Established in 1996 Henson Motor Group was the first to pioneer the new and used car supermarket concept, not only in Newcastle but in the North East, and has a portfolio which makes it one of the largest car supermarkets in the UK.
The business recently moved its multi-million pound banking facilities to NatWest as company bosses were impressed with the bank’s specialist support within the automotive sector.
David Wilson, managing director, said: “NatWest has a dedicated team which supports automotive businesses like ours and can deliver funding solutions which meet our unique needs.
“This was a huge selling point for us when we were looking at moving banks as we can rely on specialist expert advice which allows for us to better achieve our business aspirations. We look forward to working with NatWest in the future.”
NatWest senior relationship manager Adam Turvey specialises in supporting businesses within the motor trade sector.
He said: “We are delighted to be working with Henson Motor Group which is a well-established business within the region. The business continues to go from strength to strength, and we look forward to supporting the business as it achieves its future aspirations.”
Henson Motor Group operates from a 2.5 acre site in Benton, Newcastle.
