Matrix APA in final 3 of BITC Awards
Matrix APA has made the final stage of the 2015 Responsible Business Awards, run by Business in the Community, the Prince’s Responsible Business Network.
Matrix APA is one of just 3 companies to be named a finalist in the Santander Responsible Small Business category of the presitigious awards scheme – which champions responsible business in the UK and abroad taking action to address social and environmental issues and transform their communities. 63 companies have been selected as Award Finalists from the UK and abroad, across the 14 award categories of the scheme.
Senior representatives from Matrix APA will go head to head against the other finalists in the last highly competitive stage of the awards. Each will pitch their submission in front of a panel of industry experts and business leaders who will choose as winner, the company which best demonstrates significant impact and a strong business case.
Commenting, Charlie Bradshaw, CEO , Matrix APA said: “I strongly believe in the philosophy ‘You get what you give’ and have worked hard to embed these values deep within our organisation since I started the company 18 years ago. Our social and ethical approach is built around a solid commercial framework, so that it not only hugely benefits the people that really make our company special, including the ‘often forgotten’ in our supply chain, but also delivers a significant positive impact to our business stakeholders. I am extremely proud of everything we have achieved in the last two years, and becoming a BITC finalist in this category is testament to the sheer determination and tireless work of our team on the ground. We look forward to celebrating more valuable successes in 2015 and beyond.”
Charlie Bradshaw, Founder and CEO.
Stephen Howard, Chief Executive, Business in the Community said: “The Responsible Business Awards give much needed visibility to organsiations who are putting responsible behaviour at the heart of how they do business. The finalists are each playing their part to create a fairer society and more sustainable future by bringing to life the practical role that businesses can take to address some of our most pressing issues. We congratulate Matrix APA for being an inspirational example for others to learn from.”
All finalist companies will be celebrated through a series of Responsible Business Gala events taking place across the UK in June and sponsored by 2014 Responsible Business of the Year National Grid, National Grid.
The overall winners in each category will be announced in London at Business in the Community’s Annual Responsible Business Gala Dinner on 7 July 2015.
