Newcastle’s Perfect Image joins forces with American analytics giant

Newcastle-based IT consultancy Perfect Image has announced a new agreement with Alteryx Inc, an international data analytics company.

Headquartered on the Cobalt Business Park, Perfect Image delivers tailored solutions and services to organisations across the UK, helping them to improve their businesses through the effective use of IT.

Adding to its product portfolio, the IT consultancy has now joined forces with Alteryx, a high-growth U.S.A. analytics company, creating an industry-leading data blending and advanced analytics offering.

Under the agreement, Perfect Image will work with Alteryx in the North of England and Scotland, seeing the IT consultancy able to recommend, offer and implement Alteryx products to customers where there is a clear business need. Regions and cities serviced by the new agreement include Newcastle, Manchester, Leeds, Liverpool, Edinburgh and Glasgow.

As part of the agreement, Alteryx products will enhance the Perfect Image business intelligence (BI) portfolio by offering data blending, spatial analytics and predictive analytics, all of which can seamlessly interface with Qlik® products such as Qlik Sense and QlikView.

The teams within this division collaborate with customers to understand their business objectives so that they can ensure all recommended solutions meet both strategic and technology requirements.

The relevant solutions are then tailored to the client’s specific requirements, providing the biggest return on investment.

Mr Smith continued: “BI is a fundamental part of being in business today – its vital decision makers have the right information readily available to analyse, understand and then take action on.

“However, for both large and small organisations it has historically been a huge challenge to target the right data in their systems and analyse it quickly and efficiently to then make effective business decisions.

“In the past, it would have taken data and business analysts weeks to do this. Now with Alteryx, finding the right data and producing reports with the right insights takes a matter of hours rather than several days.

The latest Alteryx product to hit the market is Alteryx Analytics 9.5. This release specifically focuses on empowering analysts as they progress from using spreadsheets to taking full advantage of the data resources their organisation has built around them, allowing them to blend large datasets within databases rather than just subsets of data on their desktops.
