Yorkshire Payments secures ecommerce deal with fashion brand Paul Costelloe Man
Yorkshire Payments, the region’s only independent card payments provider, has secured a major deal with men’s formal wear brand, Paul Costelloe Man.
After signing an exclusive partnership with the luxury British clothing brand, the Brighouse-based firm will now provide a complete Payment Gateway for the outfitter’s new ecommerce website.
Launched in March this year, the website is already attracting significant online shoppers.
The new Payment Gateway will enable Paul Costelloe Man customers to make quick, easy and secure payments while shopping online via debit, credit cards and American Express.
Yorkshire Payments was able to win such a major contract due to a personal recommendation from an existing high-profile client.
Following the initial recommendation, Paul Costelloe Man put Yorkshire Payments through a rigorous tender process, which saw the firm evaluated on cost, as well as every aspect of its delivery, including the efficiency of its customer service levels and client retention rate of 97%.
Yorkshire Payments’ bespoke gateway features an easy to use dashboard, which allows access to a wide array of features, including, but not limited to, transaction management, automated settlements, reports, customisable security and integration settings.
Headquartered in Leeds and with concessions in major department stores such as House of Fraser, in addition to the brand’s ecommerce website, Paul Costelloe Man is also currently an official partner of the Football League.
Yorkshire Payments provides a several card payment options, as well as e-commerce and Virtual debit and credit card processing facilities to SMEs across Yorkshire. The firm is also one of only three businesses in northern England to have gained independent status from Visa.
David Cashmore, director of Paul Costelloe Man, said: “We approached a number of potential suppliers but the overall deal offered to us by Yorkshire Payments just couldn’t be beaten on price or any of our other key considerations. Their relationship management cannot be faulted and the technical support is proving absolutely first-rate too. We were particularly keen to be able to accept American Express on the new website as previously we had been having to turn this business away and Yorkshire Payments set this up for us without any fuss at all.”
James Howard, managing director at Yorkshire Payments, added: “We are delighted to have won the contract to provide a payment gateway and merchant account to such a fantastic name as Paul Costelloe Man. It once again reinforces our commitment to offering the very best in card processing facilities to businesses all across Yorkshire and beyond.”
