Renewable Energy Recruiter Has Wind In Its Sails

A Leeds based recruitment firm that specialises in renewable energy and construction recruitment has doubled the size of its office following contract wins with a host of the UK’s leading renewable energy companies.

Since the start of the year, Veritas Recruitment Solutions has won contracts to recruit renewables specialists on behalf of GMI Energy, Oakapple Energy and EcoLogic Living in Carlisle. It has also been appointed to support Tockwith based Duncan Renewables as the company expands into the Lake District. As a result, Veritas, which now employs a team of four, has redeveloped its offices and doubled its floor space in The Loft at Carlton Mills on Pickering Street in Leeds.

Managing Director Chris Tinson founded Veritas five years ago with Jonathan Morgan, of Leeds based Morgans City Living. Mr Tinson says: “Both the construction and renewables industries are growing rapidly as the economy improves and companies have to recruit the best people to stay ahead of the competition in a fierce marketplace. We are returning to a candidate driven market, where businesses rarely have the luxury of being able to cherry pick candidates and this makes a good recruitment firm invaluable.

“GMI Energy, Oakapple Energy, EcoLogic Living and Duncan Renewables are all leading names in the renewables sector and we’re delighted to be working with such a high calibre of businesses. In recent months, we’ve recruited for a wide range of positions from installers and sales teams through to company directors on behalf of all four companies and Veritas is now expanding on the back of this success. We’ve completely redeveloped our offices and even incorporated an innovative board room table made from a solar panel. We’re now looking to grow our team over the coming months on the back of two record quarters for the business.”
