Renewable energy recruitment firm doubles in size after major contract wins

A Leeds-based recruitment firm, specialising in renewable energy and construction recruitment, has doubled the size of its office following major contract wins with several of the UK’s leading renewable energy firms.

Since 2015 began, Veritas Recruitment Solutions has secured contracts to recruit renewables specialists on behalf of GMI Energy, Oakapple Energy and EcoLogic Living in Carlisle.

The recruitment firm has also been appointed to assist with the expansion of Duncan Renewables into the Lake District.

Veritas, now employing a team of four, has redeveloped its offices and doubled its floor space in The Loft at Carlton Mills on Pickering Street in Leeds.

Chris Tinson, the managing director who founded Veritas five years ago with Jonathan Morgan, of Leeds based Morgans City Living, said: “Both the construction and renewables industries are growing rapidly as the economy improves and companies have to recruit the best people to stay ahead of the competition in a fierce marketplace. We are returning to a candidate driven market, where businesses rarely have the luxury of being able to cherry pick candidates and this makes a good recruitment firm invaluable.

We’ve completely redeveloped our offices and even incorporated an innovative boardroom table made from a solar panel. We’re now looking to grow our team over the coming months on the back of two record quarters for the business.”
