Cycling Excitement For AKA PR
Skipton-based AKA PR is getting behind a local man as he attempts to break a cycling world record.
Sam Boatwright from Steeton, is to cycle from John O’Groats to Land’s End in under 44 hours to beat the Guinness World Record, with all proceeds going to the charity, Help For Heroes. AKA PR is giving Sam the push he needs with a host of PR and marketing promotions including press releases and corporate sponsorship correspondence to boost his fundraising total.
Sam Boatwright said: “I am looking forward to my upcoming challenge and hope to beat the world record. It will be a great experience and create many memories for me.”
Sam is well known for his sporting prowess. He completed the Epic Run in 2012 where he ran 50 miles for 50 days, helping to raise £20,000 for charity.
Said Jan Turner, director at AKA PR: “It is great that we have been given the opportunity to help raise awareness and support a local challenge. The whole team are behind Sam and wish him the best of luck.”
AKA PR has been based in Skipton for more than 20 years, specialising in home furnishings and interiors and has a country-wide client base – several of which have been with the company for over 10 years.
