EmptyLemon job board launches candidate matching solution
EmptyLemon, the direct employer job board which specialises in connecting candidates and employers direct with each other, has launched a candidate matching solution to help simplify and speed up the recruitment process.
The candidate matching solution, based on Actonomy software, will enable EmptyLemon’s clients to view suitable candidates scored by context, from a talent pool of over 467,000 CVs as soon as a job is posted, which is ideal for those roles which need to be filled quickly.
“Our investment in the candidate matching solution aims to enhance the recruiter experience by giving internal recruiters the ability to quickly see a list of relevant candidates who match their job description, with less competition, as we do not allow recruitment agencies to access our pool of candidates. It is an important part of our strategy to become a cost effective and simple all in one solution for employers, because they are often priced out of purchasing both CV search and job posting on the mainstream job boards” stated Andrew Kelly, Technical Director.
The EmptyLemon candidate matching solution looks at the context of the job title and picks out the key phrases, which it treats as equal. It considers natural language; that is how someone would describe a role in their own words on their CV. It then scans CVs for these key phrases, before scoring the CV in terms of competencies, skills and experience, as well as current job title and date the CV was posted.
Recruiters can take a proactive approach by contacting relevant candidates that match their job, rather than waiting for applicants and reviewing what could be irrelevant CVs.
EmptyLemon currently has the solution on beta release with selected clients and it will be available in July. The matching software is the latest development for EmptyLemon; the job board is set to launch a new website with an updated look and feel, whilst enhancements have also been made to the CV search functionality to include candidate relevance scoring.
