Is your company “Waste Smart”?

Environmental consultant Sharon Lashley from Enviro UK Consultants Ltd based at the North East BIC in Sunderland is currently helping businesses in the North East be “Waste Smart”, save money and become more sustainable through the successful delivery of environmental and waste management training.

Sharon Lashley is a registered trainer for the “Waste Smart” training course which is an industry standard training course developed by the Chartered Institution of Wastes Management (CIWM) and delivered by Enviro UK Consultants Ltd. Sharon has recently successfully trained a number of chemical companies including Johnson Matthey and Dow Chemical in the Waste Smart Advanced qualification.

Lisa Marshall from Johnson Matthey said, “The Waste Smart Advanced course was a very informative one which covered a variety of topics and scenarios. There was a lot of discussion, which helped me understand waste within my own business environment. I also gained a deeper insight into waste disposal along with understanding the necessary requirements of a waste transfer note and being legally compliant. I am positive this will help our company move forward in the future. All Johnson Matthey delegates successfully passed this training course”
