Marsden Packaging invest in the latest packaging solutions

Market leading contract packing company, Marsden Packaging, have invested in a state-of-the-art solution designed to improve long term efficiency and enhance customer satisfaction.

Blackburn-based contract packaging provider Marsden Packaging Limited, have announced a partnership with Nulogy, a pioneering software company and developer of systems designed for use in contract packaging and supply chain management.

Marsden Packaging works with some of the biggest names in the UK food industry including Heinz, Kellogg, Cadbury and Nestle. Michael Briggs, Managing Director of Marsden Packaging, said: “Over the last few years the number of different workflows and requirements for each job has increased dramatically and we’ve recognised the need to invest in the latest solutions. This investment means that we’ll be ready to reach our goals for the next decade and beyond.”

Earlier in the year, the company invested in the launch of a new website designed by Ilkley-based web design company Bluehoop Digital.

Marsden’s latest investment in contract packaging software is the next step in the company’s plan to develop a long-term strategy to enhance and improve customer satisfaction. “Although our previous systems had the capability to cope with our operation requirements, they did require a considerable amount of duplicate and manual overhead tasks. The PackManager solution provided by Nulogy will strengthen and support all areas of our business,” explained Michael Briggs.

Marsden Packaging sees their latest investment as another phase in a long-term plan for growth and is already looking at ways to further enhance customer experience through integrated software. Michael Briggs added: “As the complexity of customer requirements grows, we need to look for ways to meet these demands whilst continuing to deliver guaranteed outcomes and a high quality service.”
