Decathlon partner with We Love Manchester 10K

Europe’s leading sportswear and equipment retailer, Decathlon, has announced that it will be the Official Title Sponsor at this year’s We Love Manchester 10k run, when it returns to the city on Sunday 12 July.

Decathlon will be actively involved with the event, offering giveaways and product samples to runners, plus the chance to receive a free gait analysis and purchase some ‘race-day’ running items. All runners will receive a commemorative branded t-shirt at the finish line.

The We Love Manchester 10K, organised by Sports Tours International, will take place at the Regional Athletics Arena at Sports City. The race will raise money for the We Love Manchester Charity which has a focus on disadvantaged children, young people, families and older people.

The race starts and finishes at the Regional Athletics Arena at SportCity, following a route around the outside of the Etihad Stadium, the home of Manchester City Football Club and the local area.

The first 3 people over the finish line will win a cash prize; £250 for the winner, £150 for second place and £75 for third place. The run also includes free onsite parking, chip timing, a medal and commemorative technical t-shirt given to all finishers.
