Leeds-based Arc Engineers invest in new technology to continue growth plans
ARC Engineers, a Leeds-based civil and structural engineering firm, is partnering with IT management firm Orchard Networks to boost its data and systems security following recent expansion.
To cater for future growth plans, ARC relocated to larger offices within the City Mills Business centre in Leeds last November.
As part of its strategy to grow, ARC has substantially invested in new software technology with an aim to enhance its capabilities and services to clients.
Arc works throughout the UK on the design of construction projects, with recent projects including the development of several care homes, the restoration of 13th Century Mingary Castle in Scotland and a new distribution centre in the south east.
Orchard Networks will provide managed IT support services as well as security and data backup at its Yorkshire data centre.
Andrew Rimmington, managing director of ARC, said: “Any design practice such as ours relies heavily on IT platforms for communications and design software, as well as maintaining secure records.”
