Lancashire County Cricket Club win Chase Templeton sponsorship
The medical team at Lancashire County Cricket Club will be sponsored by private medical insurance company, Chase Templeton.
Chase Templeton, itself headquartered in Darwen, will see Director of Medical Services David Roberts, Club Physiotherapist Sam Byrne, Dr Simon Morris and other medical team members wearing Chase Templeton branded kit as they tend to injured players on and off the pitch.
The spinal board at Emirates Old Trafford will also bear the logo of the company which, with over 35,000 corporate and individual clients, is one of the UK’s leading private medical insurance brokers.
The move by Chase Templeton is part of a strategy to raise the company’s profile and build stronger links with professional sports clubs in its native Lancashire and beyond.
Lancashire’s business development manager, Warren Hegg, said: “I’m delighted that Lancashire County Cricket Club is to receive the generous support of Chase Templeton.
“It’s important to acknowledge the crucial role our medical and sports science professionals play in ensuring the squad maintain optimum fitness and are able to return from injury as soon as possible.
“Because much of the work they do is off the pitch it can sometimes go unheralded, so it’s great to see their contribution being recognised through this sponsorship deal.”
Chase Templeton’s chief executive officer Warren Dickson said: “We’re delighted to have forged a partnership with one of the world’s most historic, successful and high profile cricket clubs.
“Lancashire is the gold standard, a club which has invested not just in the first rate facilities on offer at Emirates Old Trafford, but in the professional development and physical well being of its players.
“The strength and depth of expertise offered by the Sports Science and Medicine Team exemplifies that point and it’s therefore an absolute privilege for Chase Templeton to be able to lend financial support.”
