Manchester agent smashes property targets

Manchester based Ascend Properties has smashed their management targets in just one year of trading.

The young independent estate and lettings agent now manages over 1,000 rental properties on behalf of property investors and landlords throughout the UK, and high demand means that they have no intention of slowing down.

Lora Roberts, portfolio manager said “Our growth has been testament to the hard work we’ve put in as a team over the past year. The first twelve months of trading are often the hardest for new businesses but we’ve completely surpassed our own expectations.”

“With many of our team working in the industry for a long time, we wanted to bring a fresh perspective to the market. We knew that great service wasn’t just about experience and expertise, it’s about listening to what our clients want and delivering on our promises. We leave no stone unturned when it comes to the little details, as it’s often the areas that are overlooked which create the biggest impact.”

Employing a team of 15, including property consultants, portfolio managers and administration and accounts staff, the management team at Ascend fully appreciate that their staff are one of their biggest assets.

“We only need to look at our reviews to see how fantastic our staff are,” continues Lora, “it’s sheer hard work and determination that has allowed us to have such a successful first year of trading.”

Initially concentrating on Manchester, the demand for Ascend’s services has led them to expand nationally and they now manage properties in locations such as Liverpool, Buckingham and Plymouth.

Lora concludes, “It’s really encouraging to know that our clients value our work to the point where they’re happy for us to manage assets outside of our local region. We have the team and infrastructure to ensure we apply the same level of detail to properties further afield than we do on our home turf and we’re very excited to see what the next year brings for us.
