Mactech Proud Sponsors of Craig Neve Racing

Mactech Engineering and Inspection are pleased to announce that they are supporting the Craig Neve Superbike Race Team, for the remainder of their season.

Craig is now in his eight year as a competitive racer, commencing in 2008 within the Formula 400 and Rookie 400 Championship, of which he won the latter. Over the years he has progressed through the levels, resulting in competing in the Thundersport Superstock 1000 Championship during the 2015 season.

The Team currently sit seventh in the Thundersport GP1 Division, which is half way through their race calendar. Rounds left this year include racing at Oulton Park, Cheshire, on 26th and 27th June.

Last year Craig undertook the challenge of the International Manx Grand Prix Road Race on the Isle of Man, where he finished seventh out of ninety seven in the Newcomers race. This was quite an achievement considering the lack of practice laps he completed, only seven in total. Craig is repeating the demanding test again this year and will be competing on the Isle of Man from 29th August to 4th September.

Mactech’s Managing Director, Andrew McFarlane, stated “Over the years Craig has made fantastic progression in his motorbike racing and achieved some great results. However teams such as his need all the support they can give in order to continue to do so and here at Mactech we are pleased to assist in this.”

He went on to add that the Mactech are planning on attending one of the remaining Thundersport rounds and that their Finance Manager is a keen superbike fan.
