All homes sold in Salford new development

All 97 homes at a new development in Salford, Vimto Gardens, have been purchased as the project nears completion.

The Chapel Street development, which consists of 83 one and two-bedroom apartments and 14 three-bedroom town houses has sold out, with all homes sold off-plan.

Vimto Gardens is part of the Salford Central regeneration scheme, which is being delivered by ECf – a joint venture between Muse Developments, Legal & General and the Homes & Communities Agency (HCA) – through an active partnership with Salford City Council.

The scheme was designed by Glenn Howells Architects.

The HCA invested £3.4m through its ‘Get Britain Building’ loan fund to make the scheme happen following the economic downturn.

Residential sales and marketing manager at English Cities Fund (ECf),Hollie Reynolds, said: “Vimto Gardens has been one of the most exciting residential developments in the region in recent years and we are thrilled that all the plots have been snapped up so quickly.

“It’s lovely to see life at Vimto and lots of happy buyers moving into their dream homes.”
