Better Bathrooms Opens A New Showroom In Cardiff

Award-winning Better Bathrooms, the largest independent bathroom and tiles retailer in the UK, is opening a new showroom in Cardiff on 25th June 2015.

As part of the company’s progressive expansion plans, the new showroom at the former Audi and CVC car showroom premises at Hadfield House, Hadfield Road, will be the company’s first outlet in Wales and the 9th showroom in the Better Bathrooms’ portfolio, trading alongside other successful stores such as Leicester, Manchester, Slough, York, a newly-opened store in Romford, and www.betterbathrooms.com The store will create new jobs in the local area and within the business.

Better Bathrooms boasts the largest showrooms in the UK, with over 5,000 products on display and offers internet prices in store. Open 7-days a week till 10pm on weekdays, our friendly and knowledgeable staff are on hand to offer help and advice.

The Cardiff Showroom Manager Paul Tester said, “Our Cardiff store is in a great location close to the city centre and comes with great on-site parking. Better Bathrooms takes the 17,272 sq ft premises on a new 10 year lease from landlord Mon Motors Ltd. DTZ Cardiff acted on behalf of the landlord and Robert Pinkus & Co. LLP acted on behalf of Better Bathrooms. The property, which fronts both Hadfield Road and Bessemer Road on a 0.70 acre site, is located in an established commercial area close to one of the main arterial routes into Cardiff city centre, approximately two miles east. Other established retailers in the vicinity include Toyota, Mitsubishi, B&Q, Wickes and Halfords.

In 2007, Better Bathrooms’ annual turnover stood at just over £1m and in the last financial year the turnover was £37m. The company aims to double their growth over the next three to five years and the Cardiff store will be a big part of this. Better Bathrooms have had an exceptional 2 years, winning 27 awards, recently having won Retail Week Enterprise Retailer of the Year and Employer of the Year, plus the prestigious National Business Award and featured in the 2012 Sunday Times Fast Track 100 and 2014 Sunday Times Profit Track 100.
