Reserve with Barratt Homes to donate to RSPCA!

Barratt Homes is donating £50 from every home reservation made on the weekend of 27th and 28th of June to the Leeds and Wakefield RSPCA to celebrate the launch of its new rehabilitation centre.

The new branch of the RSPCA will open on 28th June, working to rehabilitate and rehome neglected and abandoned animals that come into its care from Wakefield, Leeds and the surrounding areas.

Barratt Homes is pleased to donate £50 to the centre for every home reserved at The Foundry, Silkwood Gate and Priory Fields developments in Wakefield, Oaklands in Pontefract and St Andrew’s view in Morley, Leeds.

The centre, which can provide accommodation for 15 dogs, 30 cats and / or rabbits, spent £238,522 in 2014 for each animal brought into its care, the equivalent of £1.95 per pet per day.

Sue Smout, Sales Manager at Barratt Homes Yorkshire West, commented:

“The launch of the improved RSPCA Centre for Leeds and Wakefield is something that is close to the hearts of the local residents, so we’re very pleased to be able to offer donations from Barratt Homes on behalf of those reserving homes on the 27th and 28th June. The local animal rescue service provides care for so many sick, injured and abandoned animals close to our developments, so we’re very keen to support it on behalf of the local community to help it continue to provide the same high levels of care.”

Homes at the developments are priced from £134,995 and are available using Help to Buy or Barratt Homes’ part exchange scheme.
