Beauty & Holistic Lounge celebrates National Bikini Day

To mark National Bikini Day (July 5), Beauty and Holistic Lounge is urging the ladies of Liverpool to strip off in the name of charity.

As part of the commemorative occasion, which celebrates the history of the infamous two-piece, the popular Water Street salon will donate a percentage of its bikini wax profits to Cancer Research for each treatment between Monday, June 29 and Saturday, July 4.

Owned by mother and daughter-in-law duo Karen and Lisa Graham, Beauty and Holistic Lounge has become renowned across the North West for its unique themed Lycon waxing rooms and glamorous interior.

Karen said: “Nothing says summer like a classic bikini - except maybe the panic of preparing to get into it! With National Bikini Day upon us, what better time to tidy up, have a pamper and give to charity in the process?

“During the run up to the fun calendar day, we are hoping to encourage women to take advantage of our five themed waxing rooms. Whether clients want to indulge themselves in the Chocolate Bar Room, relax after a long day in the Lavender Room, get fruity with the So-Berry Room, enjoy a touch of coconut paradise in The Bounty Room, or have it all in our Spoilt Room – we’ve certainly got something for everyone.“

In addition to specialising in Lycon waxing, Beauty & Holistic Lounge offers a range of treatments including HD brows, non-surgical CACI facials, manicures, pedicures and hair services.

Lisa added: “We are one of few city centre salons to stock Lycon wax and it has certainly become a firm favourite with our clients. As the wax is set at a low temperature, it makes the process virtually pain free so it’s not surprising that celebrities including Sienna Miller and Victoria Beckham can’t seem to get enough of it!

“This week is going to be really fun for everyone that gets involved. As a charity that I feel close to home to, I speak on behalf of myself and clients when I say it’s great to be a part of raising both vital funds and awareness. So come on ladies we dare you to go bare!“
