Trattoria 51 brings Italian summer to Liverpool

Located in Liverpool’s bustling Commercial District, Trattoria 51 is offering its new summer menu just in time for the warmer months.

The team at the authentic Italian eatery has created a mouth-watering menu that includes seasonal salads, artisan pasta and classic dishes alongside an extensive wine list.

Based on Old Hall Street, the venue is the perfect spot to enjoy a varied array of traditional dishes with a contemporary twist.

Head Chef Gigi Sedda said: “We’ve widened our offerings once again in order to introduce signature summer flavours and lighter dishes. The restaurant provides a sociable, relaxed dining experience in the heart of the city centre, so we’ve added laid back dining options to the menu such as a sharing selection. It is made up of lots of small bites such as an Italian bread board perfect for this time of year.

“In order to offer something for everyone, we are one of the only restaurants in the North-West to have partnered with DS Gluten Free to launch an extensive gluten free menu, offering a wide range of pizza’s and pasta’s that such a diet wouldn’t normally allow. We are thrilled that now even more of our customers can enjoy the great tastes of Italy.“

The new menu offers a range of starters including Bruschetta Classica, Bresola and Calamari Fritti. For mains, guests can choose from options such as Greca Salad, Penne Pollo Piccante and Grilled Seabass. The family-friendly venue also serves a children’s menu, providing little ones with a small pizza or pasta, gelato and a soft drink.

Gigi added: “We’re really excited to bring another new selection to our customers with the added novelty of a summer twist. We pride ourselves on serving authentic Italian dishes and we know that our diners will love all of the new flavours that we have cooked up.“
