Revitalize Redcar launched to bring businesses together
A new networking scheme has been recently launched in Redcar to combat a local of business meeting opportunities in the area.
Revitalize Redcar has been launched by Paul Kitchener, owner of the PEAK Image Studio and Ja Reed – owner of Enter IT - for businesses in Redcar to build on their links.
The networking events take place on the first and third Wednesday of every month at the Redcar & Cleveland Leisure and Community Heart and the Deck Nightclub in Bath Street, Redcar.
The Heart will host a breakfast meeting between 7.30am and 9.00am with the Deck hosting an evening meeting between 6.00pm and 8.00pm.
Paul said: “We’ve both been to quite a few networking events in other areas and we noticed that there is nothing like this available for businesses in Redcar.
“The first event was held in March at the Deck and we decided to expand into a breakfast meeting at the Heart following discussion with regular attendees.”
He added: “We hope that by bringing businesses and community groups together, these events can help speed up the regeneration of the town through a sense of everyone pulling together.”
Councillor Carl Quartermain, Cabinet Member for Jobs, Skills, & Leisure at Redcar & Cleveland Borough Council, said: “These events are a great way for businesses and community groups to network and make new connections.
“By connecting and working together, a real sense of community spirit can grow within the town and bring in more opportunities for the future.”
