Price Slater Gawne marks fifth anniversary with RBS funding deal
Price Slater Gawne, a law firm specialising in medical negligence, has secured a funding deal with The Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) to support their fast growth.
The firm, which relocated to new premises in Altrincham in November 2014, is looking to expand its well-established consultancy division.
The consultancy team has four experienced senior solicitors and is seeking to strengthen its position in the clinical negligence marketplace.
Price Slater Gawne was established five years ago by Vicky Price and Mark Slater, and has grown from having just the two founding partners, to employing a core team of 23 today including senior and assistant solicitors, trainees and paralegals, administrative, accounts and costs staff and a practice manager.
Funding from RBS is supporting the firm’s enthusiastic growth ambitions and will also help to support their marketing strategy and further business development.
Vicky Price, Partner at Price Slater Gawne said the funding will support ongoing growth: “We are very pleased with the funding deal that we have secured with RBS. We have one of the largest teams of dedicated medical negligence specialists in the North West.
As the firm enters its sixth year, growth is our key objective. The RBS package will support us with this. We are looking forward to launching some new marketing projects over the coming months, including the launch of a new state of the art web site.
In addition to developing the core firm, Price is also keen to expand our consultancy division., she said: “We are keen to hear from senior medical negligence solicitors from across the UK who are interested in working remotely, from their own base.
“Anyone who is interested should contact us confidentially for an initial conversation. We would hope to have at least five more consultants join us by the end of this year.”
