Rapid growth for Liverpool law firm
A LIVERPOOL law firm has passed the 100 mark for new client wins in 2015.
The company, DTM Legal, has also appointed two new staff as it grows its client base from its offices in the city and in Chester.
A total of 109 new clients arrived in the first half of 2015, including a number of leading technology, property investment and construction businesses.
One of the Senior Partners, Anna Duffy, said: “The first half of the year has seen major growth for the business as we cement our place in the Liverpool marketplace and continue to build our client base in the North West, North Wales and beyond.”
The new staff are Victoria Evans, who has joined the firm as an Associate, and Alexandra Herbert, who joins as a paralegal.
Ms Evans specialises in commercial property, advising a diverse client base across the office, retail and light-industrial sectors. She is experienced in landlord and tenant work, disposals and acquisitions as well as refinancing.
Ms Duffy, who is recommended in the Legal 500 and is a member of the Property Litigation Association, added: “We’re delighted to be taking on new staff as we build our portfolio and are actively seeking legal professionals of all levels to ensure we can continue to take advantage of new business opportunities.”
DTM legal serves a corporate client base across the North West, North Wales and beyond. Clients include businesses from the manufacturing, healthcare, property, leisure, retail and education sectors.
Recent client wins include high-profile brands such as Alcontrol UK Limited, the largest independent laboratory in the UK; construction company Mellwood Construction; and the Atmore Group, a privately owned group of investment companies.
The company has also been retained by leading architectural practice Shed KM, which has offices in London and Liverpool.
DTM Legal works closely with clients to provide a broad spectrum of legal advice on issues including corporate and commercial law, commercial property, construction, employment law, intellectual property, business recovery and disputes.
The company was established seven years ago in Chester and opened its Liverpool office in The Plaza in August 2013.
