SME specialist accountancy completes merger
Accountants and business advisors Mitchell Charlesworth has completed its merger with Kemp & Co accountants.
Kemp & Co has been based in Liverpool for over 50 years and specialise in supporting SME businesses.
Partners Michael Todd and Malcolm Grant together with their staff are now relocating to Mitchell Charlesworth’s Liverpool office in Temple Street.
Mitchell Charlesworth’s Managing Partner Paul Wainwright said “The merger represents another step in the firms development towards being the leading SME advisor in Liverpool.
“The deal will add more resource to our operations and provide more services to their clients. It was clear from the outset that we both have a desire to support SMEs and have similar partner led approaches when working with clients”.
Kemp & Co’s Partner, Malcolm Grant said: “Joining forces with Mitchell Charlesworth will give our clients access to a wider range of business services.
“From our initial meetings we knew that Mitchell Charlesworth and Kemp & Co had synergies in service standards and ethos and were therefore a good fit. We are really looking forward to joining the Mitchell Charlesworth team and the increased resources this represents”.

Mitchell Charlesworth has offices across the North West including Chester, Manchester, Warrington and Widnes.
