Carden Park Combine Business and Bunker Shots
Key businesses from the Cheshire area enjoyed a business meeting with a difference at Carden Park Hotel, when they attended the ‘Business Around the Course’ golf day at the luxury resort.
The event is the first in a series at the venue for 2015, with the next one scheduled for September. The day provided an ideal opportunity for local businesses to enjoy a game of golf and chat to key contacts from around the region.
The day started with a welcome breakfast before visitors headed out on the Cheshire course, followed by a return to Clubhouse for drinks and canapés afterwards. Carden Park Hotel has recently become an independent hotel and is currently completing a £4 million refurbishment, including new golf buggy paths on the Cheshire golf course that were open to take full advantage of on the day.
Leading businesses attended the event including Simon Gerrard, Chief Executive, of Cheshire FA who said:
“The Carden Park golf day was the perfect way to meet new business leads and to update a few existing contacts about what we are doing over the coming months. The course was fantastic and the refurbishment programme is looking really impressive. We really look forward to coming back in July for our major charity day for ‘Ciaran’s Cause, and also to attend the next golf day in September.”
Cheshire FA will return to Carden Park for their annual ‘Ciaran’s Cause’ Golf Day on 17th July.
Rachael Davies, Golf Business Manager of Carden Park said:
“The ‘Business Around the Course’ programme of events will allow companies to network in an informal way, whilst enjoying the setting of the Cheshire course and the warm welcome of our Carden team. It was nice to see a few new faces at the event as well as some good friends of the venue. We hope that even more local businesses will be able to join us for a great day at the next one in September.”
