Business growth leads to expanded design team
Creative design and display company, Leading Edge, has strengthened its creative team in response to several new contract wins over the last 12 months.
Two new designers have been appointed to handle the increased work load following a six figure contract win to revamp the interior graphics in McDonalds north of England restaurants.
Michael Nicholl, Creative Designer and Nathan Bromby, Mac Artworker, bring a combined 45 years expertise to the team with strong design backgrounds and higher education qualifications in the arts.
Michael previously worked at CMS advertising, Cooper Associates and Gambit Advertising, spending seven years studying his trade in Halifax and Salford. He now holds a National Diploma in Graphic Design.
Michael explains: “Since starting at Leading Edge I’ve worked with Cricket Scotland which was competing in the 2015 ICC Cricket World Cup in Australia and New Zealand. They wanted a series of inspirational banners and posters to decorate the hotel and changing rooms – and while the team didn’t win, I like to think our design work helped motivate the team!”
Nathan joins the company with experience at Hallmark Cards, as well as UK Greetings and Matthew’s Brand Solutions.
Nathan comments: “To be creating artwork for somewhere like McDonalds is amazing and makes all the coursework and studying worthwhile.”
Leading Edge produces signage, display graphics and also produces vehicle graphics, exhibition and display stands, logos, marketing literature and promotional gifts.
