Newcastle’s Scott Logic appointed to drive banking giant’s digital evolution
Banking colossus RBS has chosen Newcastle-headquartered Scott Logic to be its digital transformation partner.
A UK-based software consultancy, providing intuitive and bespoke solutions to financial sector businesses, Scott Logic was awarded the contract by RBS as it reviews its digital strategy for 2015 and beyond.
Developers and designers from the company’s Edinburgh and Bristol offices will work collaboratively with RBS teams to ensure that innovative web development and open source technology are at the heart of this initiative.
David Tuck, Sales Director at Scott Logic, said: “Our wealth of experience in building complex software applications for the financial services sector made Scott Logic a clear choice in helping drive the digital evolution at RBS.
“Since launching the UK’s first comprehensive internet banking service in 1997, technological and digital innovation have played central roles in the bank’s development. The company continues to be a leader in this area and has adopted a core strategy around digital transformation.”
Scott Logic adopts an Agile approach, allowing it to design and build unique and robust cutting-edge software packages that exceed clients expectations, and help them and their customers to interact confidently in the evolving digital landscape.
David added: “We’re delighted to have established multiple Agile software delivery teams working across RBS and we look forward to the results of our ongoing collaboration.”
