Altrincham solicitors advise TheLADbible owners on new London office

Altrincham law firm Myerson has advised 65twenty Limited, the Manchester-based social media publisher behind the TheLADbible brand, in relation to its new London office space.

While 65twenty retains its HQ in the Northern Quarter, the company is now leasing an office in London’s Shoreditch.

Myerson’s head of commercial property, company partner Richard Lloyd, said: “We are really pleased to have worked on the lease for such a well-known tenant. 65twenty required a quick turnaround on this transaction, so I am delighted that my team were able to exceed the client’s expectations.”

65twenty’s commercial team was originally based on Charlotte Street, in the Fitzrovia area of London, but expansion meant that the company’s founders required larger premises to accommodate the growing number of staff.

Chris Dodd, a financial controller for 65twenty, said: “The competitive nature of the London property market and the pressing need for additional office space meant that it was vital to complete the lease quickly.

“Myerson approached the matter in a very commercial way and ensured that our target deadlines were met. We are delighted with our new offices and the contribution they will have towards our next phase of development.”

65twenty employs more than 50 people across its two sites. Its flagship TheLADbible brand, which was launched in 2012, has over 26m social media followers and sees 33m web visitors each month.

The company’s co-founder and CEO, Alex Solomou, said: “Opening our new premises in Jack’s Place puts us at the heart of London’s tech and creative communities - and will give our commercial director James Wigley and our fast-expanding commercial team a solid and exciting base.”
