One of London’s most prestigious hotels, The Lanesborough Hotel has re-opened this month after undergoing an extensive rennovation.
The five-star hotel shut it’s doors in December 2013 for an extravagant, regency inspired refurbishment of all 93 guest rooms and suites as well as the public areas. The hotel has now opened agin this month and the cheapest double rooms now start at £715 a night which has gone some whay toward restoring The Lanesborough’s status as one of the most expensive hotels in London.
Lancashire based glass design studios, Daedalian Glass Studios played a big part in the refurbishment of The Lanesborough.
Daedalian Glass Studios were contacted by Reardon Smith Architects from London in regards to their unique broad reeded antique silvered glass in the Hotel’s Belgravia Room. This job required the Studios to develop the whole glass scheme to the approval of Alberto Pinto Interior Design, Paris and also in close liaison with Beck Interiors who are the main contractor. As well as the Belgravia Room, the studios worked on te Celeste Restaurant Wine Store and also the Restaurant Seating Screens.
