Park Hill becoming digital hub as Sheffield businesses prepare for move

Park Hill, the major Sheffield residential and commercial development, is set to become a new creative and digital hub in the city as more businesses plan to move there over the next six months.

The Sheffield-based businesses relocating to Park Hill are Warp films, Cloaked, Yoomee, Airship, Kada Research, Can Studios and Alpha Recruitment will join Uber and Human who have been based at Park Hill for two years.

What the businesses do:

• Wrap Films, a UK film and television production company, been behind an array of critically acclaimed and award winning films, including several BAFTA nominations and wins. Since becoming established in 2002, Wrap Films has collaborated with the likes of Shane Meadows, Chris Morris, Paul King, Jack Thorne, Paddy Considine, Richard Ayoade, Ben Wheatley, Yann Demange, Tony Grisoni, Justin Kurzel, Sean Durkin and Johann Renck.
• Yoomee builds community platforms, websites, apps and other digital services to help charities, social enterprises and other not-for-profit organisations further their impact.
• Airship, the CRM and customer engagement specialists, support and provide expertise to leverage maximum ROI from customer data. The firm aims to give a single customer view connecting all data streams to drive touch points for all areas of the client’s business.
• Kada Research, a specialist economic development practice, provide UK and EU research and consulting services in the areas of business and economic growth, and social inclusion. The company’s four main services include policy and research; evaluation; strategy development and implementation; and economic analysis.
• Can Studios has been building elearning content and bespoke learning management systems for over 15 years.
• Alpha Recruitment offers services to quality personnel in a range of sectors, including construction, engineering and other related industries. The firm, which also has an extensive database of highly skilled candidates, is both a full member of the Recruitment and Employment Confederation, and of the Safe Contractor scheme
• Cloaked supplies a range of innovative cladding systems suitable for a wide range of architectural façade applications.
