Law firm Jackson Canter makes appointment hat trick
North West law firm Jackson Canter has made a series of internal promotions and seen one of its staff appointed to a new public position.
The company, which has offices in Manchester and Liverpool, has appointed criminal law specialist Esther Leach to its board of directors and made lawyer Jackie Mason its new head of immigration. In her new role, Jackie will aim to grow the department across all three sites, while Esther will continue to lead the crime and prison law department.
Elsewhere, Jackson Canter’s Naomi Pinder has been appointed to the merit list of Deputies for the Court of Protection panel.
The company’s CEO, Andrew Holroyd, said: “We are proud of the achievements and recognition given to these three brilliant lawyers who reflect the values and commitment that Jackson Canter has at its core.
“Esther’s elevation to the firm’s board sends a particular message to both our staff and the legal profession that there can be no glass ceilings in the sector, and demonstrates the number of prospects for highly committed lawyers.”
