Ward Homes in Bromley recognised in national awards
Five star housebuilder Ward Homes has picked up an award for its Trinity Village development in Bromley – for being a considerate constructor.
Site manager Bruce Constantine was presented with a Bronze Award and judges said Ward Homes has shown the highest levels of consideration through following to the scheme’s five-point Code of Considerate Practice.
The scheme is a national initiative funded by the industry to improve its image. Sites such as Trinity Village register with the scheme which is designed to encourage best practice beyond statutory requirements.
Judges taken into account a range of factors such as site appearance, respect to the community, protection of the environment, safety and workforce.
Mike Petter, chairman of the Considerate Constructors scheme said it was a privilege to reward the efforts of those involved in projects which set the bar in terms of considerate construction.
“We never fail to be impressed each year by the high levels of innovation and excellence evidenced throughout the industry,’’ he said.
Ward Homes managing director Mark Bailey said he was delighted the development had been recognised in the awards.
“We always work hard to ensure high levels of quality in every aspect of our new homes from the design, build quality and on site so we are pleased to have our efforts rewarded.’’
