Business development firm launches on South Tyneside
Business Development firm Far North Limited has launched in South Tyneside. The company founder Ian Farrar believes this is the ideal time for next level growth for the regions established businesses and for fledgling start-ups to flourish.
Far North was borne out of strategy planning discussions with businesses that uncovered an overall rising uncertainty about sales, marketing and how to best utilise technology.
Far North is made up of three strategic divisions. The Business Development arm covers traditional sales activities such as lead generation and the conversion process, the review of existing customers and routes to new markets and territories.
This sales focus inevitably feeds into the Marketing team who look to inject exposure and growth via online marketing, website development, re-branding, PR, and social media such as blog creation and twitter management.
An area close to the founder’s heart is the software and technology evaluation division. Managing Director, Ian Farrar explains “Over the years I have met with hundreds of businesses, quite often I have experienced companies nervous about getting their technology choice wrong.
“The expertise in their products and services can be extremely innovative, backed with a heavy investment in R & D but when it comes to technology they can be reluctant to take the plunge. Our goal is to minimise risk and help evaluate solutions and vendors, making technology an integral part of their growth plan”.
Farrar is also passionate about his home borough of South Tyneside and with the 365 regeneration plan in full flow he suggests the time is right to kick-start businesses and get behind the plans. Farrar continues “There is no doubt we have been through tough times and challenges and maybe more to come.
“We see this as an opportunity, the enterprising companies will thrive and those are the forward thinking organisations we love to meet. Rather than reminisce, we develop future strategies and growth plans with our clients.
“We signpost, share best practice and enjoy networking with like minded companies. By collaborating and embracing latest techniques we can make huge leaps towards the ambition and vision we all have for the borough.”
