Award-winning CPP advise on four industrial property deals in Barnsley

The award-winning Sheffield-based property agency Commercial Property Partners (CPP) has advised on four industrial property deals, totalling 67,500 sq ft, in South Yorkshire.

CPP’s industrial property and logistics team has completed on the lettings at Darton Business Park in Barnsley, a multi-let industrial estate, close to Junction 38 of the M1.

The largest letting was to global buildings products manufacturer Kingspan, who have signed a three-year lease on a 45,000 sq ft unit.

Athena Manufacturing have taken a five-year lease on a 17,000 sq ft unit, while PSR Industrial Flooring have signed a three-year lease for a 3,500 sq ft unit. The final deal involved Just Club Holdings taking Unit 14 at the park.

Darton Business Park, which is owned by Shapepart and Spencer Enterprises Company, is located fronting Barnsley Road (A637), approximately 5 miles North West of Barnsley town centre. The estate is accessed via Barnsley Road which in turn provides direct access to Junction 38 of the M1 motorway. Further access to the M1 at Junction 37 is also available.

The property comprises a multi-let industrial estate which also provides a detached two 18,000 sq ft storey office block.

The industrial section provides a mix of availability ranging from small starter units to larger distribution sections, from 1,000 sq ft to 60,000 sq ft. Units provide roller shutter access with some units providing both dock level and ground level access.
