Sale-based Venom IT expands with £100k from RBS
North West-based IT firm Venom IT Limited has moved to bigger premises after securing six-figure funding from The Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS).
The company acquired and refurbished offices in Sale, Greater Manchester, and is now operating from the Washway Road site.
Venom IT believes the new facility will allow it to accommodate growth stimulated by the £100k RBS finance package. Just recently, the firm added three new employees to its team, bringing its total staff number to 15.
Venom IT’s director, Becki Powell, said: “We are delighted with the new premises and it is great to finally be operating from a space that can comfortably accommodate us.
“The business has expanded steadily since we established it in 2006 and currently achieves annual turnover of £1.5m and 50% year-on-year growth. This expansion has meant that we have well outgrown our existing office space but the new premises will provide adequate room for many years to come.”
Becki added: “The funding support we have received from RBS has been excellent. It has enabled us to acquire the property and carry out the cosmetic renovation work it needed prior to moving in.”
Venom IT provides services such as desktop and email hosting, and general IT support.
Steve Ardern, a relationship manager with RBS, commented: “I am pleased that we have been able to support Venom IT in its move to larger premises. The new offices are excellent and will provide the company with plenty of room to grow.
“The company has performed brilliantly over the last few years and we wish them all the best for the future.”
