Healthy Foods Online to create 40 jobs in Liverpool
Healthy Foods Online, the digital retailer based in North Liverpool, has revealed plans to create new jobs at its headquarters in the Gillmoss area of the city.
The firm has reported steady growth since it was established in 2013 and now intends to more than double its workforce by taking on an additional 40 members of staff over the next 12 months.
Healthy Foods Online’s sales and marketing manager, Michael Craven, was responsible for overseeing the firm’s successful application for financial support from Liverpool City Council’s Regional Growth Funding programme.
Michael commented: “The RGF funding will allow Healthy Foods Online to realise significant growth in a short period of time. We’ve had a fantastic 2015 so far and due to this expansion we are now able to offer positions in a wide variety of areas in the business.”
The company will launch the recruitment drive by taking on a full-time warehouse manager to join its 30-strong team.
Speaking further about the expansion plans, Michael said: “Liverpool has always been a place where we could find and develop a skilled workforce.
“Last year we were voted ‘Employer of the Year’ by the Chamber of Commerce and this year we are looking to build on that by offering new and exciting careers in many areas of the business.”
