Cabfind.com drives growth with 20 new jobs
The UK’s biggest provider of transport-on-demand technology, CabFind.com, are seeking Merseyside talent to accelerate business growth with up to 20 new roles.
Following its recent acquisition by global transport company Transdev, the Wirral-based firm, which is headquartered in Birkenhead, is looking to recruit local people for vacancies.
This includes call centre work to administrative and finance assistance to more skilled roles including sales, key account managers and senior managers.
Managing director of cabfind.com, Chris Jordan, said:
“In February this year we joined the Transdev fold with a clear plan to grow in our sector, not just nationally, but internationally too.
“We have a number of opportunities within CabFind.com for the right people to excel in our fast paced and ever changing business.
“We know that the local area is a hotbed of talent, so we have decided to hold two recruitment days and meet those who can potentially add to our existing workforce of over 90 employees.”
CabFind.com was established by brothers Chris and Tim Jordan in 2005, with the family operated business renowned for developing a technology enabled transport-on-demand service.
More than 120 corporate clients use the firm’s network of 140,000 vehicles including Capita, First Great Western, Channel 4, HM Prison Service and TNT.
The business is operated by 2,300 approved suppliers through a streamlined online billing platform.
Those looking to explore career opportunities within CabFind.com are encouraged to drop into the recruitment fair and meet existing team members.
Recruitment days will be held between 10am and 4pm at Liverpool Chamber of Commerce, 1 Old Hall street, on Tuesday August 25 and Egerton House, Birkenhead on Wednesday August 26.
Commercial director at CabFind.com, Debbie Thompson, said:
“CabFind.com is a young, fun company with real career progression prospects for the right people with clear personal ambition and goals.
“We have decided to hold the recruitment days as an informal way of meeting people in the local area who would be an asset to our team and aid our growth strategy.
“Anyone interested in attending should bring their current CV with them, but we are stressing that we aren’t necessarily looking for a long list of qualifications or experience, just a great attitude and desire to learn and progress.”
In February 2015, multinational passenger transportation business Transdev acquired CabFind.com for an undisclosed sum, bringing inward investment to the UK and securing future jobs for the local community.
