Dow Schofield Watts assisted Cascade with sale to Ricardo PLC

Leeds-based Dow Schofield Watts Corporate Finance advised the shareholders of Cascade Consulting Holdings Limited on their sale to Ricardo PLC for an undisclosed consideration.

Ricardo, a strategic, technical and environmental consultancy, stated the deal follows a successful collaboration with Cascade Consulting, which started in February and will bring additional capacity and reach in its water resources and water quality management units.

Cascada provides environmental consultancy services to the UK water sector, with a focus on water resource management, catchment management, water quality, water treatment, flooding and coastal management, and environmental impact assessment.

Dave Shemmans, chief executive, said: “Cascade Consulting has an established market reputation and when combined together with Ricardo-AEA will enable the Ricardo business to start to deliver on its strategic growth objectives within the water sector both in the UK and internationally. The deal team was led by Jon Schofield and Dave Graham, Directors of Dow Schofield Watts Corporate Finance.
