Heather Standidge, Steven Moran & Daniel Barnes, DTZ

DTZ has announced 132 promotions across its EMEA business, including three for its Manchester office.

Heather Standidge of the Development Consulting team and Steven Moran of the Retail Asset Management team have both been promoted to Associate Directors whilst Daniel Barnes of the Office agency team is now a Senior Surveyor.

Across EMEA 26 new Directors and 38 new Associate Directors have been promoted. A further 68 promotions have been made at Senior Surveyor level or equivalent and below.

Chris Higgins & Luke Rossall, every1

Full service marketing agency every1 has created two new jobs with the appointments of business development and client account specialists.

Business Development Executive Chris Higgins, and Account Executive Luke Rossall have joined the agency at its Preston headquarters.

every1’s Managing Director Simon Clayton said: “I’m delighted to welcome Chris and Luke to the every1 team. They bring additional skills and experience at a crucial time for us.

“Our recent satisfaction survey revealed that our clients are more than happy with us. As we grow, our clients and prospective clients still require a high level of service, and it’s our intention to ensure they’re not disappointed.”

Established a decade ago, over the last five years every1 has increased its workforce from seven to 21. It specialises in brand, web development and integrated marketing campaigns. Recent projects include the brand, website and campaigns for successful Dragons’ Den entrepreneurs Accentuate Games.

The agency is currently seeking a suitably experienced candidate based in Preston to recruit to the Content team.

Alex Gilham, RMS PR

South Manchester-based agency RMS PR has appointed another new member of staff.

Alex Gillham has joined the agency as web and content specialist and boosts the agency’s growing digital marketing team.

Managing director Ruth Shearn said: “Alex stood out during our rigorous recruitment process.

“She joins us from a well-established digital marketing agency in London where she worked on many successful campaigns – writing and implementing online strategies that helped expand the online profiles of a wide range of brands.

“She brings valuable knowledge and experience and her arrival means RMS PR is now able to offer a more comprehensive range of digital services.”

RMS PR works with a range of growth businesses, brands and professional practices including Warburtons, Hiscox, Character World, Manchester Law Society and Swizzels.

The agency offers a range of PR, design, web development, branding and digital marketing services.

Mark Burgess, CBRE

Leading property figure, Mark Burgess, has joined CBRE’s national team as Senior Director of Asset Services and will be based from the firm’s Manchester office.

Mark joins CBRE from his previous role as Managing Director of Capital Properties, a business which he co-founded and, under his stewardship, attained UK and European best place to work status.

It is a return to CBRE for Mark who worked for the firm back in 2008 and throughout his impressive career he has also held senior positions at Bruntwood and Savills.

Based in the firm’s Manchester office, Mark will be working as part of CBRE’s national team on projects across the country.

Mark has a dynamic and entrepreneurial approach to business that will see us working together on some exciting projects over the coming months.”

Kimberley Barrett-St.Vall, Napthens

The Employment team at regional law firm Napthens has been boosted with a number of promotions including Kimberley Barrett-St.Vall who has been made partner.

Since joining Napthens in 2010, Kimberley has represented a wide range of clients including local authorities, corporate entities and educational establishments, on a variety of employment law issues from business disposals and acquisitions, to redundancy and post-termination matters.

A member of the Employment Lawyers Association (ELA), she has specialist expertise relating to corporate support work, and regularly advises employers on training issues, as well as delivering seminars on a variety of topics.

The department has also made a further two promotions, with Louise Myers stepping up to senior associate solicitor and Charlotte Nuttall to associate solicitor.

Louise joined Napthens in 2013, bringing specialist knowledge of Employment Tribunal litigation, to advise clients across a range of sectors, with particular expertise in banking and transport.

Charlotte joined the team in 2012 and acts on behalf of clients for issues including disciplinary and grievance processes, sickness absence and Employment Tribunal claims.

Chris Boyle, head of the Employment team at Napthens, said: “The promotions come at a time when the department is experiencing real growth thanks to the success of HR3, our employment law retainer service.

“HR3 has proved a real benefit for many of our clients, and these promotions reflect how highly we value the expertise and support Kimberley, Louise and Charlotte provide.”
