Sunderland AFC extends radio partnership for fourth season

Sunderland AFC has announced the extension of its partnership with radio company, Global Radio, for the 2015-16 season.

The partnership marks a fourth consecutive season for both parties and sees the club continue its work with Global Radio’s main North East stations, including Heart and Capital FM.

Heart FM is also working with SAFC to promote the club’s new Fan Zone. Located on the southeast corner of the stadium site, the Fan Zone has proved to be a big success in the opening games of the season.

Gary Hutchinson, Commercial Director at SAFC, said: “We enjoy a successful partnership with Global Radio and we are thrilled to be working with them again for a fourth consecutive season. We look forward to further developing this partnership and working with their creative team on a number of high profile projects throughout the 2015-16 season.”

Kim Miljus, Managing Director at Global Radio, said: “We are delighted to be in partnership with SAFC for the 4th consecutive year. We share the same vision and passion for Sunderland and our region.

“With 680,000 listeners tuning in every week to one of our brands, Capital FM and Heart, we are able to work with SAFC on different joint projects and business goals. We look forward to a successful partnership and season for SAFC.”
