Wetherby training provider launches three new UK centres
Wetherby-based Pitman Training Group, the independent training provider, has launched a series of new UK based centres, to assist the British workforce in increasing productivity and overall profit by creating skilled workers.
Pitman Training Group has opened 3 new training centres located in Enfield, Hastings and Ipswich, bringing its total number centres up to 90, and a new first, with a Pitman Training centre now running within a Further Education College.
The latest additions to the Pitman Training Group aim to help local people improve their lives with highly sought after vocational skills in IT, secretarial, accountancy, finance and administration.
Since the start of 2015, Pitman Training has opened 9 new training centres worldwide as demand for the 178-year-old great British brand continues to grow both nationally and internationally.
The first of the three centres, Pitman Training Enfield opened this week by husband and wife partnership, Avinash and Prithee Panchoory, who each have extensive experience in the training and careers industry and their franchise is a welcome addition to the established franchise Pitman network in the London area.
The centre will offer a diverse range of courses for those wishing to return to work, those seeking to improve their existing skills or those looking for a new career. Avinash and Prithee both bring with them expertise in training, career development advice, quality assurance and project management, which will be useful for guiding and advising students within the Pitman Training Centre.
Launching its first flagship centre within a Further Education College, Pitman Training Hastings opens will open later this week, providing privately funded vocational training in, what is traditionally, a funded college environment. Students will have the benefit of the combination of the Business Superbrand™ Pitman Training’s experience and products within a local established college.
Pitman training Ipswich will be operational from the 1st September, when the new centre is opened by business partners Chris Hodson and David Morley. Their investment into the Pitman centre will complement services and products provided at their existing business, Opportunities Workshop, a recruitment and training provider, enabling an end to end service for Pitman Training students who after updating their skills can work directly with a local recruiter to improve employment prospects.
Claire Lister, Pitman Training managing director, said: “Pitman Training Group has a long and proud history. Having been franchising now for over 20 years we offer new partners the opportunity to join a mature franchise with a well-established reputation for outstanding Product Development, and the demand for flexible learning is only becoming greater”.
